KEY INFO

I partnered with Brunswick Services to transform intricate data into compelling easy-to-understand visual presentations reflecting the user personas, user insights and key findings from their UX Research project.

This collaboration ensured that the insights were communicated effectively across all touchpoints, making the data accessible even to those unfamiliar with the project's background.

  • My Role: UX Designer, VIsual Designer, Information Designer.

Team: Myself, Research Team & Principal Director at Brunswick Design Services.

  • Delivered two versions of a 5-set A3 slide deck that visually transformed complex research data into clear, accessible formats.

The brand assets were created in Figma, ensuring a seamless transfer to the team’s files.

Collaboration with the team ensured the presentations were print-ready and effectively communicated insights to stakeholders, enhancing their understanding and engagement with the project.

TRANSFORMING QUANTIATIVE DATE INTO STORIES

The data was initially presented in charts, numbers, and complex tables across 10 PowerPoint and Excel Sheets.

To summarise the findings effectively, I organised the content into sections to create a cohesive narrative. After collaborating with the team for feedback, we condensed the information into a 5-set A3 slide deck.

DESIGN PROCESS

To ensure design consistency, I developed a core Design System in Figma, including a local library of fonts, colors, and diagrams focussed on the key deliverables.

Collaborating closely with Brunswick Services' team, we explored multiple wireframe iterations and used A/B testing to create two final design versions.

VISUAL ROADMAP & DELIVERABLES

Each version consisted of five A3 pages, focusing on simplicity and clarity.

Deliverables included segmented tables, performance dashboards, outcome projection graph, visual cards, and comparative bar graphs that effectively communicated the project's scope and future initiatives, providing an engaging visual roadmap for Brunswick Services.

The Final Designs

The final designs were delivered in two versions of a 5-set A3 slide deck that visually transformed complex research data into clear, accessible formats.

The layout of each asset in the Figma file was carefully organised to ensure Brunswick Services had easy access to the project's digital assets.

CONCLUSION

The Persona Design Project was a valuable learning experience in translating research insights into effective design documents. Despite tight deadlines and the need for dual versions, the positive feedback from the client and Brunswick Services was rewarding.

The visuals successfully conveyed complex research findings with clarity, achieving the goal of delivering engaging and comprehensible presentations that showcased the project's depth.

Thank you for exploring my UX Design and Research Journey of the Persona Designs Project.
